Thankfully I don’t have too many WIPs (that’s short for Work in Progress) on the go right now. This pile could definitely be larger, but it’s not, mainly because I made a deal with myself at New Year to finish them all before starting any new projects. Now, as yarn lovers I think we all make this promise to ourselves at least three times a
week day, but five months in and I’ve stuck with it so far. It’s harder than giving up chocolate! So here they are …
Today I’m only going to introduce these beauties to you. I plan to explain each one in more detail in their own posts, but if I did that now, this post would be ridiculously long. And as lovely as they all are, I’m sure you’d get bored super fast.
Anyways, if you can only count four WIPs in that pile above, then you’re right. A very small WIP pile indeed – I suppose I’ve done well in not starting anything new -just- yet, but the rate my ‘To Make’ list is growing I’m not going to be able to hold off much longer! Plus I really want to start making some of my own ideas into a reality.
First up, is a purple delight that will one day become a Cube Blanket … right now it’s more of a Cube Foot Cover 🙂
Next up is a summer top I started last summer … yea this one got put aside every time I spied a new pattern. I’m a magpie for pretty patterns.
Thirdly, this a beauty of a blanket and is probably the closest to being finished. I joined a CAL (Crochet Along) last year and this is the outcome. Only a sneaky peak now as I want to save the best pics for it’s own post.
And finally, the latest project I started (and re-started) is a tunisian crochet shawl. The colour of this yarn is my absolute FAVOURITE! Roll on next autumn when this will
hopefully be finished.
So there you go. My WIP pile 🙂 I can’t wait to share more details about these projects. They all have their own story and their own lessons that I’ve learned. What are you working on right now? Are you juggling several projects like me?
