A few weeks ago I shared with you that I had broken my no-new-yarn pledge and placed a yarn order with Bogga at Knitting in France who hand dyes and spins some gorgeous yarn.
As I’ve cleared out a lot of my stash, I decided that I deserved a treat! I bought the following beauties which all arrived safely from France over the weekend …
- “Two skeins of luxurious extra fine merino and silk with a hint of silver stellina sparkle. The composition is: 75% extra fine merino, 20% silk and 5% silver stellina. Each skein weighs 100g and measures 212 meters.”
- “One skein of handspun merino yarn which weighs 107g and measures approximately 194 meters. 100% merino, supersoft yarn in a soft multicolored blend with yellows, greens, orange, greys.”
- A doughnut knitting needle holder 🙂
The yarn came packaged beautifully and when I took it out of the bags … ooooo so soft and squishy!
And I even had a little suprise in with my parcel ….
A cute accessories set, which includes my first set of stitch markers for my knitting. Thank you Bogga!
I have no set plans for this yarn. I have a few ideas, but haven’t fully decided on anything yet. I think I’m going to keep it to one side until I’ve progressed further with my knitting, as with only one/two skeins it will go further knitted rather than crocheted, Do you have any suggestions?
