Sunday Sevens (25th October 2015)

The Sunday Sevens series was created by Nat at Thread and Bobbins to share awesome and exciting things that don’t necessarily deserve a whole post of their own. I have lots and lots I want to share and hopefully this will be the perfect way.

Doing these Sunday Sevens has definitely made me realise how up and down my health is … another bad week. Not so bad as a few weeks bad, but no where near as good as last week … but I did manage to enjoy a few things this week and did plenty of crochet too YAY.

1 – We did our last berry pick of the year this week. Not so many blackberries were left but there were LOADS of sloes. In total we’ve gathered 1.3kg blackberries and 2.6kg of sloes. They’re currently all in our freezer until we have time to make some delicious wine and some sloe vodka mmmmm.

2 – Had a lovely stroll around our local nature reserve 🙂

3 – I got excited over our new airer … yes I am that sad. Here’s some clean socks and tops – Love it 🙂

4 – Treated myself to some Christmas Spiced tea courtesy of Waitrose … It’s a nice tea, but unfortunately falls into the category of smells better than it tastes, not that it tastes horrible – it just smells AMAZING!

5 – Look at these gorgeous buttons. A lady at knit and natter bought them in (her husband got them on ebay I think) and they are sooooo pretty. Definite button envy was had 🙂

6 – Delicious Sweet Pear tea in Remedy Tea Shop. I love this place.

7 – I shared some of my healthy breakfast with the hamsters. Sweep pouched it quicker than I could take a photo … that girl is fast! But Tarzan sat and enjoyed most of it before pouching the rest for later. He does love blueberries.

And that is it for this week … despite having days where I felt rubbish, I’m pleased to see that I had plenty of good memories too 🙂 Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Thank you … I can’t seem to find a balance at the moment, but with practice and patience I’ll be fine 🙂

      • It’s tough I know, I often push too hard in the good patches and knock myself back, I think sometimes we get fed up with not doing much and just push through out of obstinacy even though we know we will suffer for it. It’s hard to listen to your body when you don’t like what it’s saying 🙂 take care. xx

They’re so pretty – I want some haha. And thanks, yea I have Tarzan and Sweep, they both joined us last summer, but Tarzan was rehomed so he’s a little older. They’re super cute… and they know it 🙂

A lovely way to see that good things happen in bad weeks. That is the Daddy of airers, deserves its picture in your week!
