Sunday Sevens (8th November 2015)

The Sunday Sevens series was created by Nat at Thread and Bobbins to share awesome and exciting things that don’t necessarily deserve a whole post of their own. I have lots and lots I want to share and hopefully this will be the perfect way.

Been another full week – cracked on with lots of Christmas gifts (I’ll share them with you on Tuesday), as well as a pain management session, Guides, Knit and Natter and Pilates… yes I went to a Pilates class and intend to go back. It hurt … a lot … but in the long run I hope it will help me.

Anyways, here are some photos:

1 – Me and the other Pain Management girls went out for a tasty lunch after our session at the hospital.

2 – I fixed a zip to my purse… never again. I officially hate zips.

3 – This yarn did not want to wind. It’s gorgeous, but super slippery and kept moving on the winder making horrible knots every time I tried. So I repurposed a loo roll to add some more grip. It worked! Yay.

4 – Made progress on Christmas gifts with a lovely cup of tea at knit and natter πŸ™‚

5 – Tasty big breakfast Saturday morning including eggy bread mmmmmm.

6 – Went over Dad’s for a BBQ and lots of fireworks. It was a great evening full of lots of laughs.

You have an iron will! I wouldn’t be able to part with it, although if it was a fun knit, I might be tempted to make myself one too πŸ˜€

It has been a really fun project. It’s easy enough to do when I’m feeling rubbish, but also has enough interest to not bore me on the good days. I may have to make one for me. Possibly with a thicker yarn though…. i may not have the patience to do a second lace weight one πŸ™‚
