Happy Friday! This week my Friday Find for you is the last of my squares for the Craft Club Yarnbombers’ Christmas Tree.
I’ve shared this project (Friday Find (30th October 2015) – Let’s Help the Craft Club Yarnbombers Create a Christmas Tree) for the past few Friday’s, but my squares are finally ready to pop in the post 🙂
I chose a few squares from Jan Eaton’s book 200 Crochet Blocks, and got cracking. My plan was to make as many squares as I could using the rest of the ball of green yarn I had. In the end I made another four squares, making seven in total.
- Number 29 Bobble Stripes
- Number 30 Shell Lace
- Number 52 Lemon Peel
- Number 40 Granny with a Twist
I deliberately chose a square to make in the round last so that I could keep going until the yarn ran out, which means it’s smaller than the others, but still usable.
Here are all the squares together before being packaged up to post.
Just a reminder to anyone else making green squares, that they need to reach the Craft Club by 26th November. Do you want to help out? Great! To find out where to send them email the club for the details: email@example.com.
