Sunday Sevens (15th November 2015)

The Sunday Sevens series was created by Nat at Thread and Bobbins to share awesome and exciting things that don’t necessarily deserve a whole post of their own. I have lots and lots I want to share and hopefully this will be the perfect way.

This week I’ve mainly cooked and crocheted – so pretty good. I even went back to Pilates, enjoyed it and didn’t hurt my back this time – Yay!

1 – I forgot to take photos most of the week, but when I walked into the living room on Thursday evening and turned on the light Sweep was sat up looking super cute and kind of like a meerkat. So I grabbed my phone and snapped a quick pic … just look at those little front paws held up 🙂

2 – And I couldn’t stop at just one 🙂 Her ears are all curled up where she had just woken up.

3 – I looked out of the window on Friday and the sky was so blue. It was a beautiful day.

4 – A few minutes later and this dark grey cloud blew in and before long it was raining.

5 – I’ve been cooking LOTS – but I didn’t take a photo of it all you’ll be pleased to know. But how could I not resist snapping a picture of my spicy vegetable soup in progress? So many colours 🙂

6 – And Saturday morning I treated myself to some baked oats – which if you have not tried are DELICIOUS! A gorgeous warming winter breakfast that I will be having again.

7 – I also finally got round to fixing A’s jumper this week. The seam of the sleeve had come undone. It was a quick job, but has been on the list to do for way too long.

So all in all a fun week 🙂 Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

  1. Love your veggies! Love oats, but never tried them baked-they must be delicious! Is Sweep a chinchilla? She is quite adorable.

Baked oats were delicious! Made with yogurt instead of milk mmmmmmm. Sweep is a very fluffy hamster, she’s so timy under all that fluff and very adorable 😀
