Friday Find (20th November 2015) – Crochet taxidermy anyone?

Happy Friday to you all 🙂 Today is a sore Friday, but a very happy one as our little nephew was born yesterday – and he is so cute!

Anyway onto today’s Friday Find. This week at my knit and natter group we all commented on a crochet stag head that had appeared on the wall …

… we don’t know who made it, but it was like marmite and the group were split as to whether this was a good thing to make or not. What do you think? Personally I love the quirkyness of it, so set about hunting down similar projects from across the interwebs. Enjoy!

Manafka Mina has some beautiful creations. Go look at her Facebook page (linked on her name) if you don’t believe me. Such bright, bold and beautiful designs. She even has a grumpy cat on her Etsy page right now

I’m definitely a fan of the less realistic crochet taxidermy, such as this unicorn by TheCrookedSpruce – I love the hair!

Or how about a narwhal by Crochette? Such a lovely smile 🙂

My absolute favourite though is this cute little deer butt by My Backyard Monsters – There’s even a free pattern if you fancy making your own.

Have a lovely weekend.
