The Sunday Sevens series was created by Nat at Thread and Bobbins to share awesome and exciting things that don’t necessarily deserve a whole post of their own. I have lots and lots I want to share and hopefully this will be the perfect way.
Good morning (or afternoon/evening/night … depending where in the world you are). I’m in the last frenzied crochet rush before Christmas now and making great progress on the last present. I’ll share more about that with you tomorrow.
First … here is my week in pictures:
1 – I went to see the pantomime this week at the Cliffs Pavillion in Southend – a Christmas tradition with my Guides. I do love a good panto!
2 – Dinner from scraps. Jack Monroe‘s cook books are awesome for creating a meal out of whatever you have lurking in your fridge. This tasty dish used up the last of the sorry looking spinach.
3 – I wasn’t too well again this week. All this Christmas fun is hard, but nothing some painkillers, a heated elephant and an early night couldn’t fix 🙂
4 – Work started on the final Christmas present, but first I had to chart out the design … this took a while!
5 – Going to bed at 6pm means that I’m awake in the early hours … time for some night time crochet. Have to make the best of every available moment now.
6 – Made good progress on the present, but so many ends!
7 – On Saturday night we got together with A’s Scouting friends for Christmas dinner – was a great laugh. These were the wintery looking trees the next morning, as we stayed over at the campsite (in a hall thankfully!)
Better get back to crocheting now … not long ’til the big day 😀
