The Sunday Sevens series was created by Nat at Thread and Bobbins to share awesome and exciting things that don’t necessarily deserve a whole post of their own. I have lots and lots I want to share and hopefully this will be the perfect way.
And what a week – my sister got married! Been a mad ol’ one with lots of prep and pre-rest. Here are some photos from this awesome week…
1 – The week started with me finally trying overnight oats and OH WOW they are delicious! I layered oats and yogurt (I used a Vanilla Mullerlight) in a kilner jar and threw in a chopped up plum. I then put this in the fridge overnight and a fuss free breakfast was waiting for me the next morning. So easy 🙂
2 – I finally used my voucher for the Village Haberdashery from my old job (thanks guys!) to get some gorgeous yarn. I’m getting ready to learn to make socks so I bought two skeins of Malabrigo sock yarn in Violeta Africana and Archangel. I also treated myself to a skein of Malabrigo Merino Worsted in Polar Morn, as I want to make myself a cowl using the same pattern I used for my niece’s Christmas present. This yarn is so squishy! And with the last of the voucher I bought a pom pom maker that can make up to 20 pom poms at a time!
3 – Now for some gorgeous wedding photos … Here is the beautiful bride with me, our Mum, Nana and Grandad. I love my family 🙂
4 – Don’t we scrub up well – here’s me in my bridesmaids dress with my fiance A 😀
5 & 6- My Mum knitted these cute bride and groom bears for the top table and even matched them to my sisters colour scheme.
7 – And I got all the leftover sugared almonds – YUM!
It’s been a lovely week. Not quite the relaxing start to the New Year I was hoping for but definitely an awesome day. Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Vaughan! ❤
