Sunday Sevens (31st January 2016)

The Sunday Sevens series was created by Nat at Thread and Bobbins to share awesome and exciting things that don’t necessarily deserve a whole post of their own. I have lots and lots I want to share and hopefully this will be the perfect way.

This week started out great … but then got a little crummy. I had a bad flare up and combine that with a letter I received and my mood went right down – well just say it could have been a better week.

Anyway I did manage seven pictures, because despite the crumminess I had a couple of good things go on in the week 🙂

1 – I went for a little stroll along the sea front. I love living near the sea.

2 – Coco is so cute! Had a day with this lil missy laying by my feet.

3 – Tarzan looked so peaceful curled up in his little makeshift bed (first time he’s ever made a ‘nest’) and I woke him up trying to snap a photo of him sleeping … ooops!

4 – Mum joined A and me at the wedding fair being held at Bluewater, Kent, this weekend. There was a great stall showing the dangers of buying that too-good-to-be-true dress online, called Brides Beware, which gave us all a good giggle.

5 – More free wedding magazines to look through!

6 – Stopped in at Lidl on Sunday and managed to pick up these cable needles – perfect!

7 – Oh and I almost forgot … Look at my lovely new yarn storage! It’s the Raskog trolley from Ikea. I’ve been seeing it on the Crochet Crowd Facebook page for ages and I finally got one – I LOVE IT! I now have no excuses for leaving my work scattered over every available surface in the flat.

So yes … not a total disaster of a week.

Love the trolley, I’ve also seen it in turquoise and I’m very tempted to get it! Looks like you are having a great time with wedding planning 🙂

Yea it was in a few colours… went neutral so I wouldn’t change my mind about liking a colour haha. It’s an awesome trolley and fits so much! and yea the wedding planning is full steam ahead 🙂

Ow! I NEED that trolley now! I always want to clean up my work, but then I end up stuffing it onto one of our cupboards in the living room and that is not very practical. I’ve been looking for something high enough to put besides the sofa as well, to put a drink and some snacks in. This could work perfectly for both 🙂

  3. Sorry to hear things aren’t great for you at the moment, but I love your pictures! Those trolleys are great – I’ve got one for my pans in the kitchen – never thought of using them for wool, such a great idea! 🙂

Thank you 🙂 and I saw Mikey from the Crochet Crowd using it for yarn (he even attached his winder to it). It’s the perfect size for my current projects… as long as I don’t start anything new haha!
