Sunday Sevens (24th April 2016)

The Sunday Sevens series was created by Nat at Thread and Bobbins to share awesome and exciting things that don’t necessarily deserve a whole post of their own. I have lots and lots I want to share and hopefully this will be the perfect way

I’m posting this from my phone today as my laptop has gone in for repair. Booooooo! Hopefully it’ll soon be back with me and good as new.

1 – More lovely tea. This week I tried some tasty mint tea that I brought back from Weymouth.

2 – I have been playing -and losing- a lot of Exploding Kittens. I backed the game on kickstarter, but was super excited to see a version for my phone (the android version was released this week).

3 – I’m onto the lace layer of Muki Craft’s pattern. I learned a new technique as well – the solomon’s knot – which is giving a lovely effect here.

4 – Popped down to the arcades for some fun this week and won a few tickets as well.

5 – I’ve read ‘A Stitch In Time’ before, but back before I was learning to knit, so I borrowed it.again from my local library for another look. I love this jumper! I hope that one day I can make it.

6 – We spotted this sign while out on Saturday and it gave us a good laugh. It reads: “No battery powered tools are left in this van over night and the radio’s crap too”.

7 – Cleaning out demi johns with power tools! This makes cleaning fun!

And that was my week. Not much yarny happenings, but plenty of rest and fun.
