Sunday Sevens (1st May 2016)

The Sunday Sevens series was created by Nat at Thread and Bobbins to share awesome and exciting things that don’t necessarily deserve a whole post of their own. I have lots and lots I want to share and hopefully this will be the perfect way.

This is my third post now from my phone… as my laptop is still in the hospital for broken electronics. I hope I get it back soon. In the mean time, yay for the WordPress app and being able to blog from my phone.

Anyways … this week in photos:

1 – I wouldn’t be British if I didn’t comment on the weather and what a week for freak weather it has been! These hail stones were the size of peas and made the park look a lot less green… until the sun came out moments later… and then the snow… and some rain… and the wind was horrid!

2 – I made some DELICIOUS scotch eggs and they were huge!

image

3 – I got a sewing machine. Once it’s serviced I’ll be looking into classes to learn some basic skills. What should I learn to make first?

image

4 – My test for Muki Crafts is growing and I now only two more ruffles left. I can definitely say I now know the solomon’s knot!

5 – I don’t often see birds perched on our balcony. We’re not particularly high (2nd storey), but they don’t generally sit up here. These pigeons were there for ages though – I had to get a snap.

6 – Saturday 30th April was International Tabletop Day, so of course I got together with some friends and we played plenty of board games.

7 – Today was cast on day for my first ever pair of socks! More coming about them tomorrow.

And with that another week is over… but not the weekend. Yay for Bank Holidays! Have a lovely week.
