Sunday Sevens (15th May 2016)

The Sunday Sevens series was created by Nat at Thread and Bobbins to share awesome and exciting things that don’t necessarily deserve a whole post of their own. I have lots and lots I want to share and hopefully this will be the perfect way.

1 – Unfortunately on Monday we drove the long journey to Norfolk for a funeral. On the way we stopped at a small pub and had a delicious lunch (cannot remember the name of the place!) – fresh Cromer crab, washed down with a pint of cider from my favourite cider house, Gwynt y Draigg.

2 – Before driving home we saw a beautiful sunset – my phone does not do the colours any justice.

3 – Later in the week I met some friends in Southend to have some fun in the arcades. I dropped one ball in this machine…

4 – … and hit the Jackpot – 500 tickets wooooooooooo.

5 – Enjoying the sun with a lie down on the balcony.

6 – I love teapigs tea, and enjoyed a delicious cup of lemon and ginger at the tea rooms in the local garden centre.

7 – I am making great progress on my sock! The magic loop is loads easier than dpns. I’m hoping to get to the heel turn by Wednesday so that I’m ready to learn the next step.

Another great week!

I'm a self-confessed yarnaholic from Essex, UK. There's a whole world full of yarny goodness out there … remember to bring tea and cake
