Sunday Sevens (29th May 2016)

The Sunday Sevens series was created by Nat at Thread and Bobbins to share awesome and exciting things that don’t necessarily deserve a whole post of their own. I have lots and lots I want to share and hopefully this will be the perfect way.

We had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend here in the UK … and it was sunny so we had a lot of fun. Here are my photos from this week showing what we’ve been up to.

1 – The sun was out for most of the week, which I loved. I went for a lovely walk through the park.

2 and 3 – All this sun has helped our veggies. Look at all this green! Lush.

4 – Play time with Sweep.

5 – My last few photos all seem to have a drink in them … the sun comes out and so do the tasty beverages! First off I enjoyed a lovely cider in the pub with some crochet before my sock class.

6 – Next A and I popped in for a few drinks at the Beer Festival at our local pub.

7 – And finally I worked on my socks alongside a Pimms at a family hog roast on Sunday.

This week gave me a taste of summer … roll on the fun!

I'm a self-confessed yarnaholic from Essex, UK. There's a whole world full of yarny goodness out there … remember to bring tea and cake

Can’t beat a tasty tipple. Summer is nearly upon us. I can tell, the wind is freezing today!
